Alarm installation
An alarm system connected to an Ethernet network is a specialized form of security that uses network infrastructure for communication and monitoring.
When the sensor detects movement, it transmits the alarm information using the Ethernet network.
Proximity sensor
A designed and built motion sensor capable of detecting a hand touch even through the thickness of a table is based on capacitive detection technology.
The sensor, based on capacitive detection, utilizes the phenomenon of changing capacitance caused by the presence of an object (e.g., a hand) on the surface of the table. This sensor has electrodes that register the changes in capacitance resulting from the movement of the object. When the hand touches the table, the capacitance changes at the point of contact, which is detected by the sensor. The information about the touch can then be processed and used depending on the application, for example, to control other devices or systems.
Motion control
The ball control platform in a maze is based on an interactive interface that allows the player to control the platform’s position using their legs.
The player stands on a special platform that has built-in motion sensors. These sensors register leg movements and send signals to the control system. Thanks to these signals, the platform can move in the appropriate direction.
During the game, the player uses their motor skills to move the platform in order to shift the ball within the maze. Moving the platform in the correct direction causes the ball, placed on the platform, to travel through the maze.
The platform is designed to respond to subtle leg movements, allowing smooth and precise control of the ball’s movement direction. This way, the player can focus on solving the maze while using natural body movements to control the platform.
