We are proud to have had the opportunity to develop software and control modules for the installation of an innovative LED lighting system on the Solmarina Hotel building in Gdańsk. Our modern solutions allow for 2D effects to be displayed on the facade, creating an incredible visual impression and attracting the attention of guests and passersby.
The specially designed software created specifically for this project enables effects that were previously impossible to achieve.
The use of LED technology brings many benefits, such as low energy consumption, high durability and longevity of LED diodes, and the ability to create a variety of lighting effects.
The main features of our solution are:
- User-friendly lighting control panel accessible via the internet (website). No apps are required. It works on phones, computers, tablets, TVs, etc.
- Supplied with a complete set of effects (animations). A set of standard effects + custom effects tailored to the specific building.
- Support for multiple zones, memory settings, and timed schedules.
- Simple wiring, requiring only a standard ethernet cable (twisted pair).
- One cable supports up to 250 meters of digital tape 24V 10pix/m.
- The cable connects from one point (LED) to the next. This provides simple wiring, with one cable supporting multiple LED points.
- Maximum cable length is 150 meters, and with an amplifier, it increases by another 150 meters, and so on.
- Any number of cables can run from the control unit to the LED points. For example, 8 cables can support up to 2km of LED tape.
- Control unit with remote update functionality. Remote addition of new effects according to the client’s wishes.
- 3D animation preview on the building via the Internet.
- LED controllers in hermetic/non-hermetic housings. Isolator-amplifiers ensure no interference.
Our LED lighting system features advanced functions that allow for the display of stunning 2D effects on the hotel building facade. This enables us to customize the lighting for various occasions, such as holidays, special events, or promotions.
It is fully programmable, meaning we can create different light sequences and animations according to the individual needs of the client. We can change colors, transitions, pulsations, and many other parameters to tailor the lighting to the specific context.
Our LED lighting system is equipped with a remote control function, which means hotel staff can easily manage the lighting via a special website accessible on a computer, smartphone, or tablet. This provides flexibility and convenience in creating and adjusting lighting effects as needed.
Thanks to the use of energy-efficient LED diodes, our LED lighting system is more economical than traditional lighting systems. It consumes less energy, resulting in lower operating costs for the hotel. Additionally, the built-in astronomical timer function turns the lights on at sunset and off at sunrise.
